The geisha has become a feminist symbol for me. They are a living doll which is not supposed to think, only be ready to serve physically and sexually for master. Can anyone say sex slave, that is not a positive idea on my part. The geisha valentines which I created here for the faculty art show use a modernized version via Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop CS5, and my own poetry and prose. They are beauty on the outside and painful as broken glass on the inside.
